Patrick Palucki

Patrick Palucki is a filmmaker, a video and installation artist and a photographer. His recent works include co-Authoring the Concept of the Multimedia-Dance-Opera for the United Nations for their 60th anniversary in Asia as well as Directing the Video Set Design, a documentary film of the Bangkok Artist’s Intensive 2006, Video-Set Design for „Chalawan“ - the Likey Musical at Patravadi Theatre, and for several opther performances.

His work has been shown f.i. in London, Berlin, ZKM Karlsruhe, New York, Taipei (German Cultural Center /Goethe Institute). He has been artist in residency in the Taipei Artist Village, Taiwan, 2005 and at the Patravadi Theatre, 2006.

His work has been awarded the Mandala Award 2003 from the European Institute for Media, the Focus Award 2003 from the School of Applied Sciences Dortmund, the Special Prize of the Marler Video Art Award 2004 and a stipend of the Kunsthochschule für Medien, Cologne.

Patrick is a cofounder of the VJ -& computational-art collective Superpositioners in Berlin..

He is also co-founder and co-artistic director of Dhamma Theatre West and core faculty for the Bangkok Artist’s Intensive since 2006.
